HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 73-year-old Alabama woman was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Hutchinson Sunday afternoon.

According to police, 33-year-old Benjamin Eisiminger of Lawrence disobeyed a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Shelby Lynn Nurnberg of Hutchinson.

A passenger in Nurnberg’s vehicle, Mary Gossman of Slocomb, Ala., was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with what was thought to be minor injuries.

The accident occurred at Avenue A & Cleveland around 2:20 p.m.
