HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two people were injured in an accident just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Chevy Tracker driven by Sierra Owens, 19, Lyons, was northbound on K-61, one mile north of 30th. The driver lost control on an icy overpass at 43rd. The vehicle traveled into the median and rolled.

Owens and a passenger, Alicia Owens, 40, Wichita, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.

They were not wearing seat belts, according to the highway patrol.
