TOPEKA – A Hutchinson couple, who has asked to remain anonymous, has claimed the 120-thousand dollar Super Kansas Cash jackpot from the August 27 drawing! The couple won their jackpot prize on a $3 ticket. The winning numbers were 11-19-23-30-32 Cash Ball 21.

“I thought we were dreaming when we checked our ticket,” said the winner. “We didn’t even plan on buying a ticket last week with money being so tight.”

When playing Super Kansas Cash, players get two plays for a $1. Since the winners played a $3 ticket, they had six plays for the August 27 drawing. The winner picked their own numbers using family birthdays and addresses on four of the plays, and selected Quick Picks on the last two plays. The Hutchinson residents won the jackpot prize on one of the Quick Pick plays.

“I’m glad we added the Quick Picks to our ticket,” said the winner. “We’re very thankful to have won.”

The winners, who are both retired, plan to purchase a new vehicle and pay bills with their winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pic Quik 6, located at 901 W. 11th Ave. in Hutchinson.
