UPDATE – Elderly South Hutchinson woman now listed as critical after Monday crash

After two elderly South Hutchinson residents were taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, one has now been transported to a Wichita hospital in critical condition. 85-year-old Lola Parsons is said to not be doing well, and had initially complained of multiple injuries.

She along with 87-year-old Donald Parsons were transported from the scene to Hutch Regional with serious injuries, but were later told they were in fair condition. That apparently changed for Lola Parsons.

Donald Parsons was northbound on Adams around 9:45 a-m, Monday morning when the westbound vehicle driven by 75-year-old Betty Burnett ran a stop light and hit the passenger side of Parson’s vehicle, with their vehicle then striking a utility pole.

Burnett was not injured in the crash Monday Morning.
