HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A local man was taken to the hospital after a two vehicle accident at 5th & Plum Thursday.

20-year-old Timothy Taverner was transported to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center E-R after his vehicle was struck by one driven by 35-year-old Theresa Wintamute.

She was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

The accident occurring around 7:20 p.m.
