SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — South Hutchinson is getting another industrial business.

Sun Valley Inc. a local trucking company located at US-50 and K-61, is expanding its transportation footprint. According to Sun Valley President Keith Bauer, the company is building a new warehouse in the Wilbeck Industrial Park where it will work with the K and O Railroad in a train to truck facility. The City of South Hutchinson has already approved a variance request for the building and approved issuing $1.5 million in industrial revenue bonds for the project.

Bauer says they hope to break ground soon and should be up and running by the end of the year. Sun Valley will keep their current location where they operate a trucking company along with sales and repair.

Sun Valley has been in operation in the Hutchinson area for more than 20 years.
