HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 78-year-old Nickerson woman was taken to the hospital after a one vehicle accident early Sunday morning.

According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, Emmagene L Mayes struck the bridge rail in the 100 block of N K-14 Highway. Mayes was wearing her seatbelt and there was no airbag deployment.

Mayes reported minor injuries and was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center by Reno County EMS for treatment.
