WICHITA – A inmate at the Sedgwick County Detention Facility in Wichita has apparently passed away.

According to Sedgwick County officials, at approximately 4:40 a-m Friday morning, 52-year-old Yancy D. Lough was pronounced dead by the attending physician after receiving treatment by medical staff for existing chronic medical issues.

Lough was being held for trial on felony charges, however officials didn’t indicate what those charges were. He has been in the facility since October of last year.
