SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — As part of the Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, the South Hutchinson Police Department reported that it took in 282 pounds of unused medication at its offices.

Another Drug Take Back Day will happen this fall, but no date has been announced.

The South Hutchinson Police Department was one of many departments across the state that participated in this event.
