HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 35-year-old man arrested on drug distribution charges and two cases where he’s charged with felony theft was bound over for trial in two of the three.

In the drug case, Joshua Bradbury is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within a thousand feet of Wiley Elementary School, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package and no tax stamp.

Police were called to the unit block of Swarens on the report of a suspicious subject. When they arrived, they found Bradbury sitting in his vehicle. When they asked him to step out of the vehicle, a baggie allegedly fell that contained a white powdery substance. It field tested positive for methamphetamine. Police also allege that they found syringes and a scale. This occurred back on Dec. 21, 2015.

In the other case where he was bound over, he’s charged with felony theft for allegedly taking a vehicle from Enterprise Rental and not returning it. That allegedly occurred between Dec. 23, 2015, and Jan. 15, 2016.

The third case was rescheduled for a waiver-status docket later this month. In that case, he’s also charged with felony theft for allegedly stealing from a Hutchinson man. This crime allegedly occurred on Dec. 30, 2015.

Bradbury has served time in prison for burglary, theft and obstruction charges for cases out of Saline County going back to 1999 and 2000.
