Kan. woman flown to a hospital after Jeep, Lincoln collide

KHPMARSHALL COUNTY – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. on Thursday in Marshall County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1996 Jeep Cherokee driven by Gerald L. Lake, Jr., 68, Oketo, was northbound on 3rd Road, failed to yield at Limestone Road and collided with a 2003 Lincoln Towncar driven by Barbara Breckenridge, 73, Waterville, that was westbound on Limestone Road.

Breckenridge was transported to the Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln.

Lake was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
