HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Three people are now charged with aggravated intimidation of a witness, aggravated battery, aggravated burglary.

Joshua Bradbury (top left) appeared before Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen this morning where he was read the three charges. He denied being involved in this case saying he never entered the home where a woman was beaten and never touched the victim. The judge explained that the state believes he was involved in the conspiracy.

Bradbury already has three cases pending involving drug distribution and felony theft. His bond set at $88,500 and he was denied any bond reduction.

Also charged in the case is Joshua Rund (top right) who is also facing a probation violation for his drug cases which could see him ordered to serve 22-years in prison. He was transferred to the Rice County jail on warrant for theft. Police Lt. Marty Robertson says he could also be charged with burglary in McPherson County. He has not been read the formal charges against him yet, but that should happen in the coming days.

Earlier, Michala Cooprider (top center) was arrested for the same charges. During a court appearance on Thursday, her bond was raised to $50,000.

The three are charged in the case, accused of attacking a Hutchinson woman in her home while she was in bed. Lacy Lomax was beaten so bad, she had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. She was apparently attacked with a flashlight and hit on her head as many as six times. She was allegedly attacked because she may have given information to law enforcement in McPherson County over a burglary case.

Since the charges against Bradbury and Cooprider have been read to them, their cases will now move to the waiver-status docket.
