HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson woman arrested for aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm was arraigned Monday where she entered “not guilty” pleas, that according to Senior Assistant District Attorney Steve Maxwell.

Thirty-two-year-old Kristen S. Ardolino is alleged to have pulled a large handgun and pointed it at her ex-boyfriend back on July 10, 2015. The alleged victim testified at the preliminary hearing that she pointed the gun at him four to five times during the altercation where she came to his home in the 400 block of Carpenter. He told the court she would put the gun down when a car would go by, then repeatedly point it at him.

She had apparently come to the residence with another individual to get some of her things, even though the victim had asked her not to.

She has been on corrections for a drug case going back to 2014, which makes it unlawful for her to even have the gun.

With the not guilty pleas, her case will proceed to a possible jury trial in front of Judge Trish Rose.
