
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 45-year-old man arrested for a domestic violence case where the alleged victim was badly beaten was back before a judge Wednesday morning for the formal reading of the charge filed by the state.
Donald Perkins is charged with aggravated battery after he and the victim got into an altercation. He allegedly pulled her off the bed and began striking her in the face. She had injuries that included a cut lip that could have required stitches, as well as a swollen eye.
The attack apparently occurred in multiple rooms with police saying they found blood throughout the residence. This occurring on June 7, 2016.
His bond in the case set at $10,000 and his case will move to a waiver-status docket next month.
