HUTCHINSON, Kan. — What used to be the Reno County Jail Annex has now been transformed into office space for four Reno County departments, meaning those departments will be moving into that space starting later this month.

If you would like to see what your tax dollars were used for, there will be an open house of the facility on Sunday, June 19. Hours Sunday will be from 1 to 4 p.m.

Then on June 20 and 21, the County Clerk’s Office will move followed by the Appraiser’s Office, County Treasurer and finally the Register of Deeds.

The appraiser’s area will actually be housed in a small portion of the building just to the east of the annex.

Again, the open house will be this Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
