KANSAS CITY, KANSAS – Two Kansas City, Kan., residents have been charged with bank robbery. 21-year-old Jason Ham, and 29-year-old Holly Lindsey were each charged with one count of bank robbery.

Ham and Lindsey were charged in a criminal complaint filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan.

An agent’s affidavit alleges that on Jan. 17, 2012, Ham robbed Bank Midwest, 4600 Shawnee Drive in Kansas City, Kan., while Lindsey waited in a car. Ham gave the teller a note saying, “This is a robbery. Give me everything.” He left the bank and drove away with Lindsey.

Police got a tag number of the getaway vehicle from a witness and used it to locate Ham and Lindsey. They were found at the home of Ham’s mother in Kansas City, Kan.

If convicted, they face a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
