HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man convicted with violation of a protection from stalking order was granted community corrections on a 1-year sentence.

Victory Stephenson had been charged with three counts of stalking, but a jury found him “not guilty” of all three counts, but “guilty” on the three counts of violation of the protection from stalking order.

In one case, Victory Stephenson was charged by the state with stalking the victim between April 8 and May 19, 2015. The second date was on June 25, 2015, and the third on July 26, 2015.

Judge Trish Rose sentenced him to one year on each count, but ran those convictions concurrent to each other. He’ll be on corrections for six months.
