HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 33-year-old woman already on Community Corrections for drugs convictions is now charged in a drug distribution case from March.

Latasha L. Plain is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell with the amount between 25 and 450 grams. Other charges include possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of personal use drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement.

She allegedly ran from an officer at the time of her arrest back on March 12, and they found the drugs on her leading to the charges.

During a court appearance Tuesday, she made note that she was just placed on corrections for 18-months and was supposed to go into patient treatment. But, she also made mention of being in jail in Alva, Oklahoma, just getting out.

Bond in this latest case is set at $10,000 and Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen left at that amount. Her new case will now moved to a waiver-status docket.
