HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 21-year-old man arrested back on June 3 for allegedly firing a weapon near another individual is now facing another charge.

Majesty “Magic” Wade has been charged by the state with felony theft for allegedly stealing a vehicle from a local woman back on May 26.

He has another case where he allegedly threatened a local woman with a handgun, pointing it at her, then allegedly firing a shot into the ground near where she was standing. This occurred at a residence in the 2900 block of East 4th.

When police arrived, he had left the scene, but was located in the area at 8th & Maple. He was also arrested on numerous warrants. His attorney asked for a preliminary hearing in this case during a waiver-status docket Wednesday. Judge Joe McCarville set that for Aug. 11.

His third case is pending a trial in front of Judge Tim Chambers for felony criminal damage that goes back to Oct. 6, 2015. In that case, he’s alleged to have damaged a Dodge Charger belonging to a local couple.

Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen set a date for the new case as part of a waiver-status docket on Aug. 10, also in front of Judge Joe McCarville.
