HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Monarchs had to settle for a split with Valley Center last night in a double header. Hutchinson won the first game 3-2 but lost the night cap 8-1.

The Monarchs are 30-11 and will play the Kansas Cannons this evening.

The NBC Regional Tournament gets under way this Saturday at Hobart Detter Field.
