Hutch man busted for drug distribution enters plea

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 25-year-old man stopped by Hutchinson police charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp enter a plea in the case Tuesday morning.

Tyler D. Geddes was stopped in the 700 block of East 4th back in November of last year. He entered a plea to possession of marijuana with intent to sell and the other two charges were dropped.

Sentencing will come in about 30-days.

Geddes is no stranger to law enforcement, having served time in prison for cases going back to 2010 and 2011. Convictions were for possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp. He was paroled back in December of 2014.
