HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Former HCC President Dr. Ed Berger has won the republican nomination for the 34th State Senate after defeating incumbent Terry Bruce in the primary election.

In the first US District, challenger Roger Marshall defeated Tim Huelskamp on the republican ticket.
