HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Salt City Splash will say good-bye to the summer season this week with two special events. The Splash is open Monday, Aug. 15 and Tuesday, Aug. 16

from 12:30-6:30 p.m. and will be closed during the day on Aug. 17-19 (Wed through Fri).

On Friday night, Hutch Rec and the Hutchinson Police Volunteer Patrol have partnered up to offer the Back to School Bash at the Splash on Friday, Aug. 19 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost is $2 for adults and FREE for youth under 18 (please note – all youth 7 and younger MUST have a paying adult with them at the facility at all times). Families are encouraged to attend and also bring school supplies to donate to First Call for Help. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

The Splash will be for one final weekend on Saturday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 21 from 12:30-6:30 p.m. and then wrap up its season with the community favorite, Dog’s Day at the Splash on Monday, Aug. 22 from 4-8 p.m. Cost is $5 per dog while humans are FREE. Proceeds from this event go to both Cause for Paws, Inc. and Hutch Rec. Another flyer is attached with additional details.
