HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Police report that a 30-year-old Hispanic man was stabbed around 1 am Friday morning at a local tavern.

Ulysses Ayala is the victim and the incident reportedly occurring at Smedley’s Tavern at 317 North Main. He was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment according to Police Lt. Marty Robertson, saying in a text to us that he may have needed stitches for the wound which was on his hand and arm.

No arrest have been made and the investigation is continuing.
