HAVEN, Kansas – A Hutchinson woman was sent to the hospital Friday after a two vehicle accident near Haven.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 35-year-old Tiffany Carithers was eastbound on K-96 approaching Arlington Road when she made a left hand turn across west bound K-96 and was struck on the passenger side by a vehicle pickup driven by 63-year-old Danny Bortz of Hutchinson.

Carithers was transported by EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment, while Bortz was not injured.

The accident occurring around 5:45 p.m.
