KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have  recalled infielder Christian Colon from Omaha (AAA) and  selected the contracts of outfielder Daniel Nava  and right ­handed pitcher Kevin McCarthy from the Storm Chasers.  All three players will be in uniform for  tonight’s  game  against  the  Minnesota  Twins.

To make room  on  their  Major  League reserve list, outfielder Rey Fuentes and right ­handed pitcher Nick Tepesch have been designated  for assignment.
