HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Police say they had several calls Wednesday about two individuals going door to door selling magazine subscriptions. They are described as a white male with lots of tattoos on his arms and a Hispanic male with a star tattoo under his eye.

Their appearance is very “scroungy” with “dirty clothing.”

Officers located the two men, got them identified, and instructed them to stop selling door to door until they have a permit from the city.

If these individuals try to sell you magazines at your home, please ask to see their peddler’s permit. If they cannot produce one, send them on their way.

Please call 911 and try to keep them in sight or inform the dispatcher the direction they headed when they leave your area.
