HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Cosmosphere is offering a condensed version of the Forces of Flight camp in an overnight experience for students in fifth through seventh grades on Sept. 24 and 25.

Participants will engineer and build their own model planes and hear from a pilot in the Society of Engineering Test Pilots. The Forces of Flight overnight experience will be highlighted by an opportunity to ride in a full-scale glider — a two-man, engineless, aerodynamic aircraft designed to soar and rise in the air.
