KANSAS CITY, KANSAS – A 30-year-old Shawnee Mission man has pleaded guilty to a charge of producing child pornography, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.
In his plea, Steven Miller admitted that investigators found child pornography he produced on computer hard drives. The photos showed Miller sexually abusing a three-year-old boy. The abuse took place in 2003 while Miller was living in Overland Park, Kan.
Sentencing is set for April 19. The parties have agreed to recommend a sentence of 15 years in federal prison without parole.
