Two of the four people involved in the incident Sunday afternoon were released from jail Monday because Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen, nor Assistant District Attorney Andrew Davidson had affidavits to find probable cause, and with one other suspect, the charges of aggravated assault were dropped.

19-year-old Edward Fowler of Burrton is charged with 2-counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of hash, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no tax stamp. He was the only one held on the charges he was originally arrested for. He asked for as reduction of his 16-thousand dollar bond, which was denied with Judge McEwen indicating he put a gun to someone’s head.

18-year-old Sean Tipton saw his bond reduced from 15-thousand to 15-hundred when the judge found there was not any probable cause for the charges of aggravated assault, but he did find probable cause for the charge of interference with law enforcement.

The judge ordered the release of the other two, 19-year-old Gabrielle Waudby of Burrton, and 19-year-old Santana Belya of Hutchinson. Again, no probable cause found for their arrest.

Two Hutchinson residents reported to police they were threatened with a gun while in the 2900 hundred block of North Plum, that being 26-year-old Land Wood and 18-year-old Julian Wood.

The state can still file charges against Waudby and Belya, but that will be determined later.

Fowler and Tipton will be back in court as early as Wednesday for a status hearing of the charges against them.
