HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 35-year-old woman failed to get her bond lowered after she was arrested Monday afternoon in a domestic case where she threatened at least two people.

Pleasure M. Torres apparently came at her boyfriend with a knife after the two argued at their residence on East 8th. He blocked the attack with a small mattress according to statements made in court. He apparently ran out of the home and was picked up by friends who happened to be driving down the street. She apparently followed him to another location where she also threatened a resident there.

She is also alleged to have caused some damage during all of this and became very upset when taken into custody.

In court, she requested a bond reduction which was denied. She’ll be back in court next week.
