RENO COUNTY – Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the area of Sego Road and Lake Cable Road Saturday morning for a single vehicle injury accident. The accident involved a semi tractor which had been pulling a hay trailer.

They found the semi in a field east of the road laying on it’s top. The trailer was crossing the roadway blocking it in both directions.

The driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Taylor Wade Nelson reported driving off the right side of the roadway and over correcting which caused him to lose control of the vehicle. Nelson was transported by Reno County EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Nelson was not wearing his seat-belt and has been issued a traffic citation.
