HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The downtown Hutchinson area is losing another private eatery. Cafe 25 is
closing its doors as of Wednesday.
The small cafe in the former Fraese Drug location made the announcement earlier in the day. Cafe 25 moved into the Fraese Drug location on North Main and shared the building with the pharmacy until it closed earlier this year.
At that time the cafe took over the soda fountain which made Fraese Drug a popular hangout when it was located in the Wiley Building. No word on what will happen to the soda fountain which has been a part of Hutchinson in one way or another for more than 70 years.
