HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 33-year-old man became angry over bond when he appeared via video from the Reno County Correctional Facility after his arrest Monday in a domestic case.

Gregory Mack faces possible charges of aggravated assault-domestic violence, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, criminal damage to property, violating a protection from abuse order, reckless driving and driving while suspended.

The case apparently started at JCPenney where Mack and the victim apparently got into an altercation and the victim left, traveling west of 11th. Mack apparently followed where both were traveling at a high rate of speed.

He’s alleged to have also caused damage to the victim’s car and was apprehended in the unit block of East 11th.

Police reports indicate that they spotted some handgun rounds in the vehicle and later found the marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

While appearing before Magistrate Judge Cheryl Allen, Mack asked for a bond reduction and that was denied. He became angry and hung up the phone and refused to come back. Bond is set at $7,750, according to the jail log.

Mack will be back in court on Nov. 1 to see if the state has filed formal charges.
