HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 26-year-old McPherson man was injured when he struck a deer here in Reno County during the noon hour yesterday.

Jeremy Derick Gonzales struck the deer while driving in the 7300 block of North K-61 between Hutchinson and Medora.

He was transported by Reno County EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment and according to Sheriff officials, he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
