NEWTON, Kan. — Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton, whose retirement begins next month, will receive guests at his come-and-go retirement party on Nov. 28.

The event will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Meridian Center at 1420 E. Broadway Court in Newton.

Walton will begin his new-found freedom the first week in December and plans to move
to Washington state with his wife, Karen.
