HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The 6th Annual Stuff the Trucks food drive with Midwest Ford and Toyota and Eagle Communications is coming this Saturday, Nov. 12, at Walmart. Trucks will be on site from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The goal is to fill eight pickup truck beds full of non-perishable food items for the less fortunate in the area.

All of the food stays in Reno County. It benefits hard-working members of our community that need a little extra help during the holiday season when the paycheck can’t cover everything. The Food Bank has already fed over 17,000 people this year, but the cupboards are bare. Peanut butter and other canned food goes a long way in helping those needing assistance.

Midwest Ford and Toyota has teamed up with Eagle Communications to make this another successful year. This food drive would not be possible without help from Mike’s Rent-to-Own, A & A Appliance, Pools Plus, Hog Wild Pit BBQ, Fastlane Express Car Wash and Prairie Star Health Center.

Fastlane Express Car Wash will be donating 50 percent of the proceeds from car washes on Saturday.
