Kingman Co. man hospitalized after car, deer accident

KINGMAN COUNTY – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 7a.m. on Sunday in Kingman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Focus driven by Charles W. Patten, 36, Murdock, was westbound on U.S. 54 one mile west of Kingman and struck a deer.

Patten was transported to the hospital in Kingman.
He was properly restrained a the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
