CHENEY, Kan. – A one vehicle accident in Kingman County Wednesday morning sent one of seven in the vehicle to a Wichita hospital.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Ashley Marie Boucher of Derby was traveling east on SE 10th Street in a F-250 pickup and attempted to pass another vehicle. She apparently lost control and overturned in the north ditch.

One of her passengers, a seven-year-old girl was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for treatment of injuries. Some of the others in the vehicle including the driver may have suffered injury, but were not transported to any hospital.

The accident occurring around 7:50 a.m. Wednesday morning three miles west of Cheney.
