Sarah Ruhl’s quirky dark comedy about love, death and everything in between puts the icing on our 100th Anniversary Season. Minding her own business at a non descript cafe, our heroine, Jean, approaches Gordon who is sitting at a nearby table when he ignores her pleas to answer his incessantly ringing cell phone. Upon discovering that Gordon has departed this world for the next, Jean answers his phone, an action which sets into motion an unbelievable but truly touching journey which explores modern technology’s ability to both unite and isolate people in the digital age.
