HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Kansas’ gas price average tipped upward on the week with a five cent increase. On the heels of the OPEC announcement prices began moving upward now showing a double digit percentage over last year’s falling prices.

Hutchinson now has all gas prices above $2.00. The cheapest according to www.gasbuddy.com

was at the Central Prairie Coop with a price of $2.02. Murphy’s USA was at $2.04 and other local prices were at $2.06.

Kansas is sitting at number seven for the state average price of $2.03.
