A 50-year-old Plevna woman who managed to survive a head on traffic accident back on February 10, has now died.

Annette Bush died Thursday at a Hutchinson residence. Death Scene Investigator John Tracy said that the cause of her death isn’t known at this point and that her body was taken to the Sedgwick County Forensic Science Center for an autopsy. They want to determine whether she died of health issues related or unrelated to the accident. Tracy said he couldn’t comment any further on the matter.

Bush had been a passenger in the vehicle driven by her husband, 49-year-old Brian L. Bush who was killed the night of the accident about 3-miles west of Abbyville.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Troy Meitler of Halstead crossed the center line and struck the Bush vehicle.
