HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two large baseball and softball tournaments are in the area this weekend.

Starting tomorrow morning, 37 teams are expected for the USSSA Next Level Showcase baseball tournament. The tournament will be held at Hobart Detter, Rice Park, Nickerson and Buhler. The tournament runs through Sunday.

At Fun Valley, 45 teams are expected for the annual Band of Sisters girls fast pitch tournament, featuring all four age divisions along with an open high school division. That tournament begins on Saturday and runs through Sunday.

Games for both tournaments begin at 8 a.m. each day.
