HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community College, in conjunction with the City of Hutchinson and Hutchinson Recreation Commission, will be hosting an open house of the newly renovated Hutchinson Sports Arena on Thursday.

Local officials and those involved with the project will make brief remarks at 4:00 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. and tours from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Not only will you get a behind-the-scenes look at the newly renovated Sports Arena, you’ll have a chance to test your hoops skills against two of the best to ever play for Blue Dragon women’s basketball: Taylor Stahly and Lakin Preisner.

Lakin once went more than a year without missing a free throw while Taylor holds the Blue Dragon and Jayhawk Conference record for career 3-pointers. Both will be on hand at the open house.
