Two arrested for drug distribution waive preliminary hearing

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two people arrested back in September of last year for drug distribution after a domestic disturbance waived their preliminary hearing Monday afternoon.

Twenty-five-year-old Teresa Louise Delgado and 26-year-old Dominique Broome are both charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package, personal use drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Delgado is also charged with criminal damage.

Police were called to the disturbance and Delgado opened the door with blood on her hands. Officers then noticed some windows broken after she allegedly threw a cell phone belonging to Broome out the window. They also found a black lock box, which allegedly contained drugs, paraphernalia and a scale.

Both will be arraigned on the charges on Aug. 7.
