
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Commission has set Aug. 8 for the public hearing on next year’s budget.
The proposed mill levy is 41.774 for next year, which is just slightly below this year, where the mill levy is set at 41.775 mills.
If you want to learn more on the county budget, there will be a public forum tomorrow evening at 7 at the Hutchinson Public Library.
Spending will increase some to provide a variety of services including maintaining roads and bridges, public safety, public transportation, public health, elderly assistance, youth services, assistance to a variety of community service agencies and more.
