
WICHITA, Kan. — The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the case of a woman found dead near some railroad tracks as a homicide.
Shortly before 8:00 a.m. on Monday, a passerby found a woman lying next to the road near the train tracks in the 10800 block of South Meridian. Responding deputies noticed trauma to the woman’s body and she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The woman has been identified as 40-year-old Tamsen R. Kayzer of Wichita.
They are now investigating the death as a homicide and are asking for help from the public. The suspect who they are currently looking for is 40-year-old Darnell D. Coleman from Wichita. Coleman is a black male, 6’ 1” tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Additionally, officers would like to talk to anyone who saw anything suspicious in that area.
