Manwarren bound over in distribution case

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 29-year-old Inman man who was arrested in Hutchinson on drug-related charges last year was bound over for trial Thursday.

Richard Manwarren II is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia with intent to sell and possession of Hydrocodone.

He allegedly had 8 grams of meth, a digital scale, as well as the Hydrocodone.

The arrest occurred in the 1200 block of South K-61 back on Feb. 17, 2016.

Manwarren is serving time for some of his prior convictions, including two convictions for aggravated battery, two convictions for violation of a protection from abuse order, aggravated intimidation of a witness, or victim, and burglary. Although in prison, he is scheduled to be released next month.

With him bound over, he’ll be back in court for arraignment on Dec. 4.
