HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The general election is today. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

You will need to present a valid photo ID in order to vote.

The election also presents the one-quarter-cent sales tax question that would fund street improvements in the city and allow for some property tax relief. Some tax dollars would also be used for operational expenses at the Cosmosphere and Strataca.
