HUTCHINSON, Kan. — As of late morning on Monday, most stations in Hutchinson were averaging a price of $2.25 per gallon for regular unleaded, while the price at Murphy’s USA was at $2.23.

Over in South Hutchinson, the price today was slightly cheaper at $2.22 per gallon.

In Wichita, the prices varied depending on what part of town you were in, with the cheapest, according to www.gasbuddy.com, at $2.24.

In Salina, the lowest was $2.29. Topeka has prices as low as $2.26.

In Garden City in western Kansas, the prices are much higher according to the gas buddy website. The lowest price was $2.39 at a Love’s with prices as high as $2.44 per gallon.

Your best bet might be to fill up locally, depending on where you’re headed.
